Terms of Use
Effective October 10, 2026
Agreement
These Terms of Use are an agreement between you and Wyvern Systems LLC (“we”, “us”, or “our”) about your use of the BotLegger application and this website (together, the “Software”). By installing or using the Software you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use it.
If you use the Software for an organization, you confirm that you may bind it to these terms. Questions? Contact us.
License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Software for your personal use or your own internal business purposes.
The Software is proprietary. We and our licensors keep all rights not expressly granted. You may not:
- reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble it, except where applicable law allows despite this limit;
- sell, rent, sublicense, or redistribute it, or offer it as a service to others;
- remove notices, or circumvent its security, access controls, or licensing.
Your AI providers and connected services
BotLegger does not include AI models. You bring your own API keys and accounts, and your bots send requests to the providers and services you choose.
- Your use of Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, Microsoft, GitHub, Plaid, Discord, Telegram, and any other provider or service is governed by that provider’s own terms and policies, and you must follow them.
- You pay those providers directly for what you use. We do not charge for their services or set their prices.
- We do not control third-party services and do not guarantee that they will be available, accurate, secure, or unchanged.
Bots act on your instructions
Bots work from the instructions, tools, and access you give them, and they can send messages, change files, and use connected accounts on your behalf.
- You are responsible for what you configure, enable, and approve, and for the results.
- AI output can be wrong, incomplete, or out of date. Review it before you rely on it or act on it.
- Do not rely on the Software for medical, legal, financial, or other safety-critical decisions.
- Approvals and access tiers are tools that help you stay in control. They are not guarantees that a bot will never act in a way you did not intend.
- If you use a bot to automate a third-party account, you must follow that service’s rules for automation and use.
Acceptable use
Use the Software lawfully. You may not use it, or let a bot use it, to:
- send spam or unsolicited bulk messages, or harass, threaten, or defraud anyone;
- create, spread, or run malware;
- infringe anyone’s intellectual property or privacy rights;
- access any account, system, or data without authorization;
- violate the usage policies of an AI provider or connected service.
Your content
Your conversations, files, memories, and other content stay yours. They are stored on your devices, and we receive only what you choose to send to support. How information moves between your devices and the services you connect is described in the Privacy Policy.
Age
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Software. If you are under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms on your behalf and supervise your use.
Updates and availability
Features differ by platform and may change. We may update the Software, and we may change, limit, or discontinue features, or the Software itself, at any time. We do not promise that the Software will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Paid features
If we offer paid features, the price and any additional terms will be shown before you buy. Payments may be handled by a reseller that acts as the merchant of record, in which case its terms for the purchase also apply.
App stores
If you got the Software from the Apple App Store or Google Play, the store’s terms also apply to you. If you got it from the Apple App Store, you also acknowledge that:
- these terms are between you and us, not Apple, and we, not Apple, are responsible for the Software;
- Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for it;
- if it fails to meet a warranty that applies, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any, and, to the extent the law allows, Apple has no other warranty obligation for it;
- we, not Apple, are responsible for any claims about the Software, including product liability claims, claims that it fails to meet a legal requirement, and consumer protection claims, and for investigating and resolving any claim that it infringes someone’s intellectual property rights;
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you;
- you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a “terrorist supporting” country, and you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
Disclaimer
THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, AND UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS. WE DO NOT WARRANT AI OUTPUT OR THE SERVICES OF ANY THIRD PARTY.
Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SOFTWARE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SOFTWARE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR IT IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AND US$100. Some places do not allow these limits, and then they apply only as far as the law permits. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Termination
You may stop using the Software at any time by uninstalling it. We may terminate your license if you breach these terms, and your right to use the Software then ends. Sections that by their nature should survive, including the disclaimer, the limitation of liability, and governing law, survive termination.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas and the federal laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any consumer protections that apply in your country of residence still apply to you.
Changes
We may update these terms. When we do, we will change the effective date above, and where the law requires we will notify you of material changes in the app or another appropriate way. If you keep using the Software after a change takes effect, you accept the updated terms.
