Create a bot

1. Select + at the top of the Bots list, then New bot.
2. The new bot opens in chat with a name you can change later.
3. Tell it in chat what you want it to do.
4. Open Bot settings in the chat header to rename it, pick its model, or change what it may use.

Good to know

• You can also ask a bot to create one for you, such as “Create a researcher that cites its sources.”
• New bots start at Ask before commands, so nothing runs until you approve it.
